Grandin Media informs and engages through the telling of inspiring stories of Catholic life in today’s world, particularly in central and northern Alberta.

Grandin Media takes its name from Vital-Justin Grandin, an Oblate who was tireless in his efforts to share the good news of the Gospel.

At the time, the diocese covered large parts of present-day Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories. Grandin walked about 25,000 miles in snowshoes over the course of his ministry.

Good afternoon everyone, we’re sharing a video message His Grace recorded this morning, in light of the restrictions set by Alberta’s chief medical officer of health earlier this week. It’s been posted on YouTube and Facebook. We’re also sharing a link to seminarian Adam Rieger’s reflection on his internship at St. Mary’s in Red Deer as well as Chad Miciak’s interview as he prepares for ordination to the transitional diaconate. Also, Sister Michelle Langlois writes about honouring a mother’s Eucharistic “yesses”. Please share as you are able on your websites, social media and other communications channels.
